Top 4 most successful world-class businesses started by students while still in University #business facts + tips
Sometimes, you don’t just have to wait for a university degree to become successful, it might just be that you need “a degree in ideas” and success can just sweep your feet while going about your normal daily routine; like someone said success might just discover you while you are buried in your business. Below are some great businesses that took the center stage by storm and turned the fortunes of the owners into that of a world class success and worth_ all started by students in their university days.
Here are the top 4.
1.      Time Magazine – Today, Time magazine is the largest weekly news magazine in the world with the headquarters in the U.S, boasting a readership influx of more than 25 million people. Time Magazine started at Yale University in 1923 by two friends and classmates -Briton Hadden and Henry Luce. The pair created the first weekly news magazine in the U.S. both at just about 23 years of age. And today, you can only imagine their worth.

2.      Facebook – Facebook began as a simple site, call web page or something designed to connect students of the Ivy League school online, it was  started  in Harvard University by Mark Zuckerberg in his bedroom in 2004. Within a month, the network had spread to other universities and eventually to everyone now. Today there are 845 million members and counting worldwide including you!. Mind you, every click you make using facebook increases Mark Zuckerberg’s fortune and worth.

3.      Google – Everyone use google today, everyone. Even for you to be reading this now, you must have accessed www.hall4connect.com via google. It’s that relevant!. Google was started at Stanford University in 1996 by two friends- Larry Page and Sergey Brin teaming up to stun the world. They were PhD students who set out to change the search engine. The pair developed a new technology called PageRank, which measured a site’s relevance based on the number and importance of its pages. Page and Brin today are worth more than US$30 billion combined.

4.      WordPress   Wordpress is a publishing platform and powers millions of websites and blogs worldwide. WordPress started at University of Houston in 2003 by Matt Mullenweg. The publishing platform behind nearly every blog online quickly expanded, powering 2,000 blogs by the spring of that year. As of last year, of the top one million most-trafficked websites on the Internet, wordpress powered nearly 15% of them.

My advice?.  Fine. Have you heard that ideas rule the world?, No, you haven’t.
·         Don’t just be a student for the name,  become a “business student”.  Do not just be a stereotype student, be dynamic. Start something extra Now!. It’s very okay to “face your book”, yes, but always remember that someone brought an idea of how to make the book (all the books) that you would be “faceing”, Coded. Be versatile, like I said, do not be stereotypical, be dynamic, you are in school to broaden your mind. Do not allow the dumb idea of ‘’face your book” crab block your horizons, open your mind, you are in school to become useful first to yourself before any other beneficiary so the idea of someone advising you to‘’ face one old book’’ that was theorized by some guy for the whole 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 years that you’d spend in school (depending on the course), is totally out of place. So I’d rather you go ahead and try other things, try things out, give things a try, experiment, do not be limited by any course you study_ medicine, nursing, law, Agric, any course. All of them are limited. The presenter of “who wants to be a millionaire” (Frank Edoho) is actually and literally a millionaire today from media world but he never studied mass communication .It might turn out that you don’t even practice those courses. It happens; at least you’ve heard similar case/s like that before. So irrespective of the course you study, thinkentrepreneurship. It wouldn’t be bad if you ‘’start out’’ right from school. I mean you won’t be to too young if you are a millionaire at/before or between age 30 and 35. Now, quote me right, it’s profitable to read and study but it is headless to face any dry book.
Just make sure that you AcTivate an extra idea today. Friend, the world is very dicey, you might just be minding your business and success comes finding you, you never might say, you can just wake up a millionaire even before you graduate. It’s very possible and guess what?, the possibility is embedded in you. Sounds as if I’m motivating you?, NO, I am reminding you. The journey starts NOW!.
